James is a Managing Director and Head of Alternatives Investments Distribution on iCapital’s Private Wealth Solutions team. In this role, he oversees a team of regional sales and national accounts professionals that work with top registered investment advisors, financial advisors, and financial intermediaries. He and his team deliver industry leading alternative investment education, research viewpoints, and investment capabilities across hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real estate strategies.
James brings more than 25 years of financial services experience and began working with alternative investment strategies in 1997. Over this time, he has held roles across sales, marketing, and product management at Citi / Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch and most recently, Morgan Stanley Investment Management. He graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science, holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses, and is a CAIA charter holder.
Jill Mozer
Partner, Head of Real Estate Exchange
Ares Wealth Management Solutions
Ms. Mozer is a Partner and Head of Ares Real Estate Exchange within Ares Wealth Management Solutions, which oversees Ares' client management activities in the global wealth channel. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, she was a Managing Director, National Sales Director, Black Creek Exchange at Black Creek Capital Markets, where she oversaw the firm's real estate exchange program, Black Creek Exchange, a unique solution for investors owning highly appreciated real estate. In this role, she was responsible for all aspects of the program including managing relationships with distribution partners and working with advisors and clients to educate them on tax advantaged real estate investment solutions. Previously, she was an Attorney and Regional Manager for national 1031 exchanges, specializing as a qualified intermediary. Ms. Mozer holds a B.S. in Business from Arizona State University and a J.D. from University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Nick Rosenthal

Mr. Rosenthal serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer at Griffin Capital Company, LLC, where he is responsible for working directly with the firm’s executives across Acquisitions, Asset Management, Due Diligence, Product Development, Accounting, Investor Relations, Marketing and Equity Sales. In this capacity, Mr. Rosenthal is responsible for directing the firm’s strategic vision and advancing key initiatives across the organization. With extensive experience and expertise in both the financial services and real estate industry, Mr. Rosenthal has authored whitepapers on real estate investing and associated financial planning strategies. He is highly regarded for his thought leadership and is often featured in industry publications and events, offering insight into the current investment dynamics in the property markets. Mr. Rosenthal has been involved in the underwriting and acquisition of multifamily and industrial real estate investments and has been directly responsible for raising over $2 billion of investor capital across various real estate strategies and investment structures.
Mr. Rosenthal is a registered Series 7 licensed representative. He is a Graduate of the George Washington University and a resident of Newport Beach, California, where he resides with his wife and two sons.
